Buffalo Cauliflower Wings

Sports are great, but let’s be real: eating food while watching sports is a thousand times better. There are few things better than noshing on spicy, salty and crispy things while watching your favorite team go head-to-head with their rival.

Enter buffalo cauliflower wings. Delicately battered, baked and tossed in Frank’s Red Hot sauce, these faux buffalo wings are so simple to make and can be whipped up in a snap! Gather a group of friends, your favorite beers, and get ready for a party!

Buffalo Cauliflower Bites

Ingredients

  • 1 head of cauliflower, chopped into 2″ pieces

  • 1 cup water

  • 3/4 cup + 2 tbsp flour

  • 1 tsp salt

  • 1 1/2 tsp garlic powder

  • 1 1/2 tsp onion powder

  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika

  • 1 tsp chili powder or cayenne

  • 1/2 tsp black pepper

  • 1/4 cup Frank’s Red Hot sauce

Directions

Preheat oven to 450 degrees F. Mix water, flour, salt, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, chili powder/cayenne and black pepper in a bowl until smooth. Coat cauliflower in the batter and place on parchment lined baking sheet. Bake for 20 minutes.

Once the cauliflower is cooked, toss in Frank’s Red Hot sauce (use more or less, as desired, or serve on the side). Serve warm with vegan ranch, sliced carrots and celery.

NOTES: If spicy food isn’t your thing, don’t fret! You can toss the cauliflower wings in teriyaki sauce, bbq sauce, or curry sauce - the options are endless.
