We recently had the pleasure of producing the groundbreaking ceremony for an upcoming affordable housing development, RISE Apartments. Owned by RISE Housing, LP, RISE Apartments will consist of 56 furnished studio units for low- and very low-income veterans and will provide much needed supportive housing.

Working closely with RISE Housing, LP, the Pink Salt Cuisine team produced the groundbreaking ceremony with help from event partners Bright Event Rentals and Modern Illumination. From building the tent and providing seating for press conference attendees to working with media to ensure all news teams had access to audio, this event was truly a collaborative effort that marks the start of a wonderful addition to the community.

To reduce the event’s environmental impact, all plates, utensils and drinkware were made of compostable materials. Working with Epic Renewal, Pink Salt Cuisine was able to divert a total of 13 pounds of compostable waste from landfills.

We were so honored to be a part of this event and are excited to see the completed building in 2020.
