Do you use organic and locally sourced ingredients?

Using organic and locally sourced ingredients offers many benefits for our clients and our community, and as such, we try as much as possible to do so. From a flavor perspective, locally grown food just tastes better - it's fresh and isn't coated in preservatives that can affect how it develops. It also uses less energy to reach us, which is crucial for our environment, and supports our local economies.

Health wise, organic ingredients mean less exposure to pesticides and herbicides, which not only helps the consumer, but also helps the environment (less chemicals on our food mean less chemicals being absorbed into our soil and water). It's a win-win situation for everyone


What steps have you taken to be zero waste?

More people are becoming mindful of the impact their decisions make - even what you eat can make a significant difference! Through our experience in the events industry, we've seen how much food is wasted, how much trash is generated, and how little is being done to help. We've made the conscious effort to reduce our environmental footprint as much as possible by using recycled and recyclable packaging materials, using every part of fresh ingredients (including leaves and peel), composting when possible, and working with local food recovery organizations to donate unserved food and whole produce.
